AMEE 2024: AMEE 2024: A platform for global collaboration and innovation in health education

In August 2024, the Messe und Congress Center Basel hosted the annual conference of the International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE). Over several days, experts from all over the world took the opportunity to exchange knowledge, research findings and innovative approaches in health education.

The Messe und Congress Center Basel was chosen due to its modern infrastructure, excellent international accessibility and many years of experience in organising major events. The organisers emphasised the professional equipment and smooth handling, which enabled the implementation of a varied programme with keynotes, workshops, ePoster presentations and diverse networking opportunities

The catering received particular praise, exceeding the expectations of the international guests with a wide range of high-quality dishes. The friendliness and professionalism of the event team was also emphasised by many.

The close and solution-oriented cooperation with the teams on site, including sales, catering, exhibition and IT/AV technology, was particularly appreciated by the organisers. This contributed significantly to the smooth running and success of the conference.
