Years of tradition
The Basel Autumn Fair is an integral part of the city—just like the Rhine. The first edition took place in 1471. Every year, from the end of October to mid-November, Basel transforms into the largest funfair in Switzerland. Showmen set up their rides in the city’s most famous squares, while food stalls, game booths, and merchants offer their goods.
Our exhibition square and our hall have been part of this traditional event for many years. Especially here, there is a lively atmosphere, as visitors of all ages, including those from neighboring regions, flock to us and into the city.
It is our pleasure to welcome all the guests in the MesseQuartier Basel who cheerfully stroll through the Autumn Fair and discover our hall.
