For the first edition of the DACH Trade Fair Conference for the German-speaking world, attended by EXPO EVENT Swiss LiveCom Association, Messen Austria and Germany’s Professional Association for Trade Fairs and Exhibitions (FAMA), we were able to welcome around 200 experts from the trade fair industry in the region spanning Austria, Germany and Switzerland
Working together with FAMA, we held the two-day event on our Basel premises. The aim of the event was to highlight the new form of cooperation established by the trade fair industry in the German-speaking world. This first trade fair conference, which was held at Messe & Congress Center Basel at the invitation of the three associations Expo Event Swiss, Messen Austria and FAMA, marked the successful answer to the wish expressed by industry representatives for a joint specialist congress and a transnational industry get-together.
To set an example in the industry and make the event more sustainable, vegetarian-only catering was provided at the trade fair conference.
