Every three years, Basel becomes a hotspot for the woodworking industry. Thank you very much for the many years of working together in a spirit of partnership.
First held in 1957, Holz is Switzerland’s oldest trade fair. It takes place every three years at our Messe & Congress Center Basel, showcasing the tradition and passion for this natural material shared by professionals in the woodworking industry.
Trade visitors can discover new products and innovations and participate in exciting specialist forums. A vibrant supporting program provides further highlights, with carpenters vying against each other in a model competition, the award of an innovation prize and the selection of a young carpentry star. At the 2022 fair, we were able to welcome the WorldSkills Competition as a special feature.
Apart from the spirit of partnership at the heart of our working relationship, Tanja Fischer particularly appreciates the smooth logistics organisation and the good accessibility of our halls, where large machines are on display during the Holz trade fair.
