Since July 2024, the Bambusnest has been revitalizing the historic Circular Courtyard of Messe Basel. Amid the vibrant city life, it serves as an urban retreat focused on relaxation and social interaction. Natural elements, a beautiful variety of plants, and a diverse culinary offering shape this cross-generational meeting place.
The Circular Courtyard is animated year-round with two different concepts.
Summer Concept
After-work vibes, refreshing drinks, delicious street food, and diverse events: from July to September, white sand and towering palm trees transform the Rundhof into a holiday oasis.
During the summer months, various bar and street food areas take guests on a culinary journey featuring Asian Bao Buns, Italian Pinsas, creative bowls, fruity cocktails, and fresh smoothies.

Winter Concept
Just in time for the start of the autumn fair, the venue transforms into a trendy “Winter Market” from October to February. Bustling activity, mulled wine, seasonal dishes, and electronic beats define the colder months.
In romantic gondolas and cozy yurts, small groups can enjoy flavorful fondue, while visitors savor a relaxed atmosphere, sample treats from numerous market stalls, and mingle with others.

Indoor Eventlocation
Since December 2024, the Bambusnest has expanded its offerings with its very own indoor event location in Hall 2 – the Cube Concept Club. This multifunctional venue is the ideal space for corporate events, presentations, and musical gatherings for up to 1,000 guests.
Equipped with a premium L-Acoustics sound system, an advanced lighting setup to create the perfect ambiance, and in-house catering, this venue guarantees an unforgettable event in the heart of Basel.
Various events, concerts, and parties take place monthly at the Cube Concept Club, complementing the offerings at MesseQuartier Basel.
