Solar energy in Africa, education in Australia, payment transactions in Asia, railways in the Middle East, medicine in America or air travel in Europe – anyone studying the references that Terrapinn can supply will see that the company is not only at home on all the different continents but is also well versed in all conceivable topics affecting mankind. For more than 30 years, the company has been engaged in events promoting innovations and technologies, to change people’s lives.
All over the globe, Terrapinn curates the contents to be conveyed, which are duly matched to the industry in question and the venue at which the event is to be staged.
In order to fulfil this mission, Terrapinn works with globally leading companies and innovators – and has also been working with the Congress Center Basel (CCB) for many years. One example is the Festival of Biologics, which relocated to the CCB in Basel from Geneva five years ago.
The extra mile
“Our cooperation with the CCB is a key factor in the success and growth of the Festival of Biologics. Our contacts at the CCB give us the impression of being part of our team. They always go the extra mile for us”, says Derek Cavanagh, project director at Terrapinn. The life sciences event is held in Basel because the city is one of the world’s largest life sciences centres and the CCB is an ideal venue. In the light of the Festival’s success, Terrapinn is planning to hold further life sciences events in the Congress Center Basel in future.
Event professional Cavanagh explicitly highlights the coordination, with “everything from a single source”, and the first-class communication at the CCB. “Everything runs smoothly, from the signage, via the draft floor plan, right through to the organisation of a special tram to take all the participants to their evening party”, says Derek Cavanagh.
