Behind every successful company you will find a strong marketing team. Silvia Decker, Head of Marketing & Communications, and Laura Strähl, Manager Marketing & Communications, are responsible for positioning and marketing our two locations in Basel and Zurich.

Messe Basel Marketing Team

With their extensive know-how and communicative expertise, they are committed to making Messe and Congress Center Basel and Messe Zürich even more widely known – at both national and international level. Together with our sales team, they have set themselves the goal of attracting further major trade fairs, congresses and corporate events to our venues.

The work of our marketing experts includes staging industry and customer care events and also managing websites and social media channels, print and online communication measures and PR activities. “Our job gives us the freedom to be creative. Working together and sharing knowledge with other people are the key aspects involved. Emotions play a major role and this is what makes our day-to-day duties so diverse and varied. In addition to my regular tasks, I particularly value gaining insight into the organisation of major events and seeing how successful events are created through the teamwork of numerous different parties.” tells Laura Strähl.
